FAQs
1. HOW DO I SCHEDULE A COUNSELLING APPOINTMENT ?
The preferred method for scheduling appointments or inquiries is through email at therapybyrajani@gmail.com or by calling (672) 881-2176. Additionally, please be aware that payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your appointment.
2. WILL MY INSURANCE OR EXTENDED HEALTH BENIFITS COVER COUNSELLING ?
Most employers typically offer insurance coverage for counselling and therapy, either through insurance plans like Pacific Blue Cross or directly via funds allocated for counselling through an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). It’s important to note that counselling is not covered under MSP. To determine your extended health coverage, your first step should be to contact your insurance carrier.
Payment for counselling sessions is required at the time of booking each session. If you are covered by insurance, you can expect reimbursement from your insurance provider for your therapy sessions.
3. WHAT IS THE CONFIDENTIALITY POLICY ?
As a counsellor in private practice, the confidentiality policy adheres to industry standards. All information discussed in session remains confidential. Confidentiality may only be breached in the following circumstances:
1. If you disclose information about a child or vulnerable adult experiencing abuse or neglect.
2. If you express an immediate intention to harm yourself or another person.
3. If you are involved in a legal proceeding and a court issues a subpoena for your counselling file.
4. WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
If cancellation of your scheduled appointment is necessary, I require that you notify me at least 48 hours (two full business days excluding weekends and statutory holidays) in advance of your scheduled appointment start time to receive a refund of the full payment made at the time of booking your session. Your session is reserved exclusively for you and cannot be reassigned to others on short notice.
